Three candidates, one workload brief
These are documentation-based candidates, not a performance ranking. We have not purchased and benchmarked equivalent course installations on these providers. Send each the same description: WordPress and plugin versions, busiest class actions, storage needs, payment integrations, and the responsibilities you need covered.
Ask for a quote for that configuration. Introductory prices and annual monthly equivalents can obscure the actual first invoice or renewal. We leave the amount quote-dependent because we have not established a compatible plan for your course workload.
| Provider | Reason to investigate | Question before purchase |
|---|---|---|
| Kinsta | Managed WordPress offering and published PHP capacity documentation. | Which PHP capacity, monitoring, and escalation path are included in my quoted plan? |
| WP Engine | Managed WordPress hosting offering. | Will the proposed plan support my plugin stack, cache rules, and staging rehearsal? |
| Liquid Web | Hosting options for a defined management or infrastructure requirement. | Which server and application tasks are included, and which remain mine? |
| Current provider | An alternative with no immediate migration. | Can a scoped repair meet the same acceptance checks at lower total cost? |
Compare the complete bill
A provider with a lower opening invoice may still cost more for your required workload. Equally, paying more does not establish that a slow quiz or membership rule will be repaired. Tie every paid feature to an identified requirement and name the person who will check it.
- Record the currency, billing term, full initial invoice, renewal amount, and taxes.
- Ask which storage, traffic, capacity, backup, and restore charges could apply.
- Confirm whether migration help covers your actual course site and how completion is verified.
- Include your existing hosting overlap, plugin licenses, and any separate video service.
- Get the next capacity upgrade and its cost in writing.
Buy against an acceptance record
For LearnDash, rehearse login, lesson access, progress saving, and quiz submission. For MemberPress, include registration, account access, and two memberships with different permissions. Use an isolated staging environment with synthetic records and the provider's permission; do not send test transactions to live payment accounts.
Select the provider only after the configuration, test method, support boundaries, and invoice are understood. If a candidate cannot answer a requirement, record it as unresolved rather than inferring that a larger plan includes it. Questions before you decide
Which host is fastest for LearnDash?
We have not run comparable benchmarks and cannot name a fastest host. Compare the same course installation, actions, and acceptance thresholds on approved test environments.
Do these prices include LearnDash or MemberPress licenses?
No included license is assumed here. Ask each provider to itemize licenses and add-ons in its quote.
